Professional career
Ellis is fully qualified in Sport Massage and has a Qualification (FAA Level 3 Award) in Activity First Aid. She is also in her final year completing her degree BSc (Hons) in Sport and Rehabilitation Therapy at the University of Sunderland.
She has experience working with the Newcastle Eagles basketball team, and different running events such as the Great North Run and Durham City Run.
She enjoys using various soft tissue techniques, including deep tissue sports massage, to relieve tightness and pain. She may round off treatment with appropriate after care bespoke to you. Although she is comfortable treating any part of the body, she has a special interest in lower limb.
She joined the Durham City Physio & Podiatry team in 2023. We think she will grow at our clinic, and is regularly supported by our experienced physiotherapists.
